The rapid development of automobile industry,automobile market competition is intense,Each auto companies constantly updated products,timely launch of new products occupy the market. The development of the automobile gradually toward a more environmental protection, energy saving, safety improvement, good lightweight design is the guarantee of vehicle performance and driving quality, also the current industry limited energy and environmental protection of the urgent development trend.to meet the requirements of automobile lightweight, energy conservation and emissions reduction,demand to rise year by year of the auto industry. Lightweight design,the essence is to achieve the performance objectives of the corresponding models by means of some reasonable structure, new materials and new technology.For high strength steel, not only need to understand and analyze its forming performance, and can guarantee the stability of the quality control, and put into use is particularly important.This article is based on the new light trucks,the longitudinal beam for lightweight car body design, the material is made of DP steel plate. Because of the use of high strength steel plate in the past models are very scarce, making my high strength steel forming process and lack of experience in the development of mold, so I can only try to apply high strength steel plate in individual parts.To carry out successfully to ensure the longeron lightweight project, the vehicle quickly put on the market, so the high strength plate stamping process I make reasonable, controlling the forming quality, has become an urgent problem.Papers to the new light truck of high strength steel DP590 girder as the research object,first the lightweight design for the longeron, in the selection of high strength steel after the comparison with the old section of longeron,there is a significant reduction in weight and working procedure.Select high strength steel DP590 and the cab assembly for a simple stiffness check.not only achieves the goal of reducing the weight of the whole vehicle, but also saves the investment and reduces the production cost,and achieves the goal of lightweight project.on longitudinal beam for lightweight car body design,high strength steel DP590 selection and rigidity of cab assembly.And then to the structure characteristics of thelongitudinal beam and car body,to static simulating the strain state of parts after drawing by using Autoform, get high strength plate longeron successful forming process and related data.By using the grid analysis method to analyze the products, the actual products are measured,and the results are compared with the simulation results to verify the reliability of the forming process. The final constantly debugging trimming die, and develop product testing standards, the actual measurement, complete acceptance inspection of products of high strength steel and longitudinal body and die, at present the product to successfully put into operation, stable quality.
