Reliability refers to the power industry for users reliable and provide continuity to the level of electrical energy, is a Power Grid Corp in terms of power quality of the necessary performance evaluation criteria, largely reflects a power company with power level, technical equipment in the enterprise management efficiency and intelligence at the same time, also can see a country's level of social and economic development level. Since China's reform and opening up, the rapid development of China's social and economic development and the improvement of people's living standard, so as to provide power supply enterprises of power customer's power quality also has a new standard, from the past to meet the load demand for it on the power supply reliability and power quality has high requirements for further. It is imperative to improve the power quality and improve the reliability management level of power grid enterprises, so as to obtain better economic and social benefits.In this paper, the definition of power supply reliability is presented, and the evaluation method of power supply reliability of partial power system is explained. Combined with the Power Grid Corp and the economic development level of the whole society to the requirements of the current power supply reliability index of rural users, starting from the reasons affecting the reliability of power supply reliability, the existing problems of rural users, management system, technical measures, system solutions and solutions to the deep exploration of discussion. A reliability evaluation and planning method for distribution network system in rural areas is proposed.
