The excellent architectural and cultural elements are products of the times,it reflects the community economy and cultural connotations of a region,a nation,and even a country.Every Southland must have a good house.In the rapid socio-economic development of socio-economic,the valuable west house has not much left,so the inheritance and protection of the west house is our top priority task.Nowadays,the design of modern restaurant space has been influenced by the interior design style of Western Europe,which has made the restaurant space more modern and simplified,and has lost its regional cultural characteristics.In addition,people's demand for restaurant space is gradually increasing,and it is the trend of the development of restaurant space to meet the new and unique psychological feelings and experience of consumers.This project of Zengcheng District of Guangzhou city based on paitan town "West Guangdong Museum",according to customer requirements,and the decorative style of architecture in south of the Five Ridges as the research background,the project requires to Xiguan architectural elements as the main design content.In the process of the implementation of the project,the existing Xiguan style restaurant space in Guangzhou was investigated and found that the restaurant space in the design reflects the unique cultural connotations and themes of the atmosphere there is insufficient.In order to better fusion Xiguan big house building decoration elements and restaurant space,through the comparative analysis and Research on the topic of Xiguan architectural decorative elements,from Xiguan big house building decoration in the selection of the partition door,window,Manchuria porcelain drum as the research object,to explore its main features and cultural connotations,and from the other,the material and the color of the three aspects of the innovative design,applied to the restaurant space design,the protection and inheritance of the essence of traditional culture and modern design concept combination.At the same time,for the catering space brand personality to find the direction of guidance,to meet the consumer's psychological feelings.Finally,through the catering space actual project to show the Xiguan house decoration elements in space use,from the case reflects the Xiguan big house cultural connotation,create brand personality restaurant space.
