For smart grid communication network, the research process is still in the middle of the stage. The evolution of traditional power grid to smart grid requires the following features: easy to expand, easy to deploy, high efficiency and wide coverage, the use of LTE technology to build smart grid communication network is a frequent research topic. In this thesis, the use of LTE technology in the construction of smart grid is the starting point.Research circumstance in lack of spectrum resources, the primary problem of this thesis is to determine the use of carrier aggregation technology and its special application in the grid research.Thesis manly discusses the problem of carrier scheduling and traditional radio resource allocation in smart grid environment.Firstly, thesis introduces the technical background and demand of LTE technology and carrier aggregation in the construction of smart grid network. The second part focuses on the technical details of LTE and carrier aggregation technology.Considering the introduction of the carrier-scheduling problem, thesis proposes a new resource scheduling strategy, which is different from the traditional LTE scheduling. The next part of thesis discusses the scheduling problem in detail. In the aspect of carrier scheduling, thesis analysis the advantages and disadvantages of traditional JUS and SRUS scheduling, and the PSRUS algorithm based on service priority difference is proposed to distinguish the carrier occupancy of different services in the system. In the aspect of RB allocation, thesis derives the priority scheme from the traditional resource allocation algorithm.Thesis optimizes the resource allocation problem by distinguishing the priority of the UE's in Smart Grid Communication. Finally, thesis puts forward the simulation result working on the Vienna LTE system-level simulation tool.Result shows that the proposed algorithms provide remarkable performance in a LTE system, which aggregated 20 MHz bandwidth, and the UE number increases from 50 to 200 per eNodeB.The designed algorithms improve the high priority UEs and Services performance based on the decrease of the lower companions.Simulation result fits the feature of the Smart Grid communication.
