Neighborhood school village is in a unique law of development of colleges and universities around the village,under the rapid development of urbanization in China is a special product.With the passage of time,the adjacent urban villages in the school is constantly developing its contradictions and problems also increasingly prominent,there is a poor living environment,commercial layout confusion,poor sanitation,excessive building density,fire hazard is serious and so on many realistic problems,has a great influence to the university and the surrounding residents' life,so its reform is imperative.In the current urban planning management and practice,the rationality of urban villages in neighboring schools spontaneous informal business are difficult to cognitive,its considered the appearance is easy to get a common critique,mostly about the messy space form to negate,adopt the method of redevelopment,destroy the internal order and diversity of the city.As a transitional space of the university and city,adjacent to the school of village inside city public space for commercial,transportation,recreation,entertainment,and other functions of a variety of life,those with spontaneity,organic public space,lies under the appearance of chaos,confusion and vigor and vitality,the priority of public space,public Spaces can be lead to the development of surrounding areas.,therefore,in this paper,based on the urban planning and architectural design field,the integrated use of organic renewal theory,demand hierarchy theory and external space theory to adjoining school starting from the substance space form of transformation of village inside city,taking in public space transformation as the breakthrough point,on the basis of the original space structure,at the same time,school to neighboring villages for the combination of culture and campus culture reconstruction model,for the school nearby villages to integrate and optimize the space environment,improve public accessibility and visibility of the space,make its become an organic part of the urban space characteristic,in order to school through the adjacent village in city public space transformation to realize the coordinated development of colleges and universities and the surrounding environment.The full text is divided into six chapters,the first chapter is the introduction part,mainly introduced the research background,purpose,significance and methods of the thesis,as well as the studies both at home and abroad.The second chapter for the school nearby villages and define the concept of the public space,and analyzed the neighborhood school formation reasons and the basic characteristics of urban villages,and the paper research theory to comb.Chapter iii select field survey in four representative school neighboring villages to carry out specific analysis on the public space,summed up the general features of adjacent school village in city public space.The fourth chapter combining research theory and research analysis with reconstruction of public space as the breakthrough point of the principle and the reconstruction method.The fifth chapter through practice of village renovation,to apply to transform principle and method of "the feasibility of reconstruction of community to verify the method.Sixth chapter put forward the harmonious development of colleges and universities and the surrounding area,hope that through the study of this article,the neighbouring villages reform practice provides the reference for the future and the suggestion.
