With the improvement of railway running speed and rate of traffic flow,maintenance of the track line detection task is increasingly heavier.Now and then,track inspection vehicle and comprehensive inspection vehicle can detect the rail lines status,which is comprehensive but not only expensive but also period cycle operated;the original manual detection methods rely on artificial experience,by the way,it's low efficiency and has single test items,therefore,it cannot meet the requirements of rail lines inspection where the skylight time is getting shorter for the line maintenance and the detection frequency is getting higher.The rail lines status detection system based on the portable track inspection trolley is able to greatly improve the detection efficiency and reduce the labor intensity of the railway operators,and also can rapidly detect any railway sections in the skylight time.Therefore,it's meaningful to develop the study of rail lines status detection system based on the portable track inspection trolley.According to the Railway Ministry line maintenance rules and portable track inspection equipment design specifications,a rail lines status detection system based on inertial reference principle is proposed in this paper,which is mounted on the hand-push inspection trolley.Detection mathematical model of track geometry parameters can be built by means of analysis of rail lines and sensors installed on hand push track inspection trolley such as displacement meter,accelerometer,inclinometer,fiber optic gyroscope and rotary encode.Not only signal processing but also data saved and disposed task have been completed in this paper.Gauge correction and multi-sensor fusion algorithm is beneficial to improve the detection precision.In order to verify the stability and reliability of the rail lines status detection system,tests are performed in china academy of railway sciences.The experimental results show that the system can realize dynamic real time measurement of track irregularities,the minimum sampling interval is 0.307mm,gauge and cross-level irregularity measurement accuracy is within ±0.5mm,track alignment and longitudinal irregularity measurement accuracy is within ± 1mm,when the inspection trolley operates at the speed of 1.2m/s?1.5m/s.
