With our national economy developing rapidly, China had built 75,000 kilometers of railways at the end of 2005. In recent years, the track irregularities request increase gradually with the acceleration of train. It is very important to measure the railroad accurately in the course of railway lying down and the routine maintenance. Consequently, developing a track inspection trolley is a very meaning thing.This paper introduces a way of inspecting the geometric parameters of track by using the theory of recursive measurements and produces the algorithm on the vertical profile. At the same time, this paper solves the location curve of track's center lines in the initial coordinate system by using the method of a coordination transformation, infers the algorithm of track alignment by the horizontal component of the center cure of track.
