China's coal consumption market slump in recent years,with the port volume decreased year by year.Each port for the supply of goods has to cut the price.Under the background of the port cost compression,the mechanization and automation of the equipment have become the direction of the research of the port.In the port transportation industry,the car dumper feeder is always the important equipment of bulk transportation.The traditional car dumper feeder is manual operation.When operating,one should monitor the equipment,while the other is adjusting the material.Manual operation of the car dumper,which has low efficiency and also is not stable in feeding material,may cause occlusion of the belt or deviation.In order to improve the efficiency of feeding material and decrease the breakdown of the belt,the auto-control feeding technology of the car dumper emerges as the times require.The system of auto-control feeding is easy to make the production of the port intelligent and data oriented,while increase the efficiency.It can increase the competitiveness of the port.In order to achieve the auto-control feeding,this thesis designs a new system of feeder.The new auto-control feeding system has three part,including dumper feeder,hydraulic gate system and PLC-control system.First makes a force analysis for the new designed roll feeder with ANSYS analysis software.It checks difference of force in different working conditions.After that this thesis makes a design of hydraulic gate system,including the design of the hydraulic schematic diagram and the choice of the component.At last the PLC system is designed and the human-computer interaction interface was drawn according to the require of production.After the design of the whole system,this thesis installs the experimental equipment for every part,in order to prove the feasibility of the design.The installed experimental hydraulic system is mainly to prove whether the hydraulic gate work stable under the load condition.It also can check whether the oil pump suit flow change under the complex condition.The experimental station of PLC system is mainly to prove the stability of newly added module in controlling solenoid valve and other hydraulic equipments.It proves that this auto-control feeding system of car dumper can reach the requirement of the design through the experiment.
