Comparing with the foreign advanced products, the precision of domestic valve electric actuator is lower. And there is still a great disparity in reliability and stability between domestic and foreign products. As the localization developing, it is necessary to develop a new generation electric actuator to meet the requirements of practice.This research comes from a practice engineering project, the main research contents and achievements include:Analysis the principle of the valve electric actuator, establish the overall design schemes, analysis the functional structure composed of controller and actuator. The parameters of the selected motor are decided based on the calculated valve torque. The main transmission of the actuator, the ZA type worm and gear are designed by use of theoretical formula and FEA; the calculation model to calculate the force of declutch was established to achieve the optimization design of declutch parts. The worm gear and helical gear are used to replace bevel gear pair as the travel transmission to eliminate the hidden trouble. The mechanical displacement is used for the torque transmission, and its key part-disc spring is designed. A new type encoder is developed by use of the absolute encoder technique and Chinese Sunzi theorem, which simplified the traditional counting structure and realized a new measurement technique. The design of the controller, the soft and hardware system is carried out. Through the trial-manufacture and test, the measurement proved that the new generation electric actuator can meet the performance requirements for practice, which means that this project reach the design target.The achievements of this thesis can be used not only for development and optimization of electric actuator, but some components designed in this project are also helpful for the similar practical problems.
