Chengdu Country Park Edge Spatial Distribution And Optimization Strategy

The fast promotion of the urbanization process has activated the development of the urban and rural areas. As an important part of the urban and rural areas, the country park has gradually become a new hot spot. The country park, which is in the environment of violent change, plays an important part that urban parks can't match, and the edge of space, as the most sensitive area of the park, is in the forefront of energy accumulation and obvious contradiction. This essay takes the edge of space of the country park as the research object, and selects the top ten country parks of Chengdu as examples. After making clear of the two key concept, i.e "country park" and "edge space", the definitions of the concept and scope of the edge of space of the country park are made. The analysis of the edge space of the country park in Chengdu includes seven aspects, that is space types, qualification, constitute elements, functional properties, visual form, psychological perception, and subjective and objective evaluation. It leads to the conclusion that it dominates the aggregation and dispersion of behaviors, and plays a role of transmission. Through the research of the surrounding environment and the space comparison of the outer edge, it analyzes the the outer edge space of the country parks. By exploring the change trend and influence factors, it gets the conclusion that the edge space of country parks plays the role of allocation and dominates the accumulation and dispersion of resource and energy. Finally, we conclude the optimization strategy of country parks edge space, get the inspiration of urban planning and design of edge space, and discuss the influence factors of the edge space of the country park.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1) The three types of edge space in Chengdu country park are "point", "line shape" and "surface shaped"; the two definition methods are plane elements and vertical elements; the main component elements are the landscape elements and an important node.(2) The publicity, openness and ecological harmony are the most obvious characteristics of the edge space of Chengdu country parks, which indicates that the country park and edge space have abundant components of ecological environment as well as green public open space, and that is the main difference with the normal city park.(3) Being eye-catching, continuous, open, monotonous and abundant is people's perception and evaluation of the form of Chengdu Country Park edge space; being leisurely, quiet, interesting and noisy is people's perception and evaluation of the environment atmosphere of Chengdu Country Park edge space; being lively, quiet and beautiful is people's perception and evaluation of the space vitality of Chengdu country park edge space. The influence factors of the perception and evaluation results include the position of the park, geographical location, activities, landscape environment, definition form, size, scale and development direction, theme, threshold setting, the flow of people, visiting goal and expectation value.(4) As an important component of city edge space, the existing country parks in Chengdu distribute around the main districts, forming a green package for the city. The main environment components outside the park edge space are farmlands, wastelands, rivers, commercial and residential areas and industrial parks, which focus on natural environment. The way of connection between the park edge space and the surrounding space environment includes natural extension, mutual penetration, artificial isolation, scope limitation and direct contact. Regional development planning is the main reason for the change and development of the outer edge of country. parks in Chengdu while the character orientation is the secondary cause. Country parks, located in the urban and rural areas, are exposed to intensive changes, and the overall change trend of its outer edge is the reduction of primary natural environment and the increase of artificial one.(5) The edge space inside the country park dominates the aggregation and dispersion of behaviors, and plays a role of transmission while the outer edge plays the role of allocation and dominates the accumulation and dispersion of resource and energy.(6) Proposing the optimization strategy of the edge space within country park which mainly includes mining potential edge space, improving the quality of space, protecting the original natural environment, creating a wild landscape, creating a valid edge space, making use of the space, enhancing edge recognition, creating the space a sense of belonging, improving the marginal accessibility and reasonable construction trails, paying attention to the details of the edge, and enriching space experience. The planning inspirations of the city edge space are from the research of the outer edge space of the country park, and there are three points, that is respecting the primitive natural environment while controlling the artificial environment, considering the long-term planning while reducing policy change and deficiencies, and breaking the unfair to realize the sharing of resources.
