Recently,a growing attention has been paid to electric vehicles,which is gradually accepted by the public as a new generation of green transportation.It can effectively relieve the problem of pollution from vehicle emissions.Due to the stand or fall of motor driven system directly affects the performance of the electric car,so we hope to find a suitable for the electric car motor drive system.Compared with the traditional induction motor,switched reluctance motor has the advantage of small volume,simple structure,strong and reliable,flexible and wide speed range,etc.Switched reluctance driving system has super-excellent quality and wide application.Especially used in electric cars it has a unique advantage.Therefore,this paper design a set of switched reluctance motor speed control system to validating the feasibility of the switched reluctance motor speed control system to electric vehicle drive system.This paper firstly introduces the basic structure,working principle,the mathematical model and control of motor speed control method of switched reluctance motor.Then based on the theory of the design of switched reluctance motor and traditional asynchronous motor production experience,the design of a 5kW four phase 8/6 pole switch reluctance motor,and map the mechanical processing,commissioned factory processing a prototype.In addition,according to the design parameters,the finite element modeling and simulation of the machine is established by Ansoft software.Based on analyzing the results of simulation,the method of motor torque ripple is proposed.Secondly,this paper designs the hardware circuit of the motor.The hardware circuit of the main control chip is STM32F051.In signal detection,the method and the working principle of position signal detection and current design are mainly stated in this paper.Finally,setting up the motor test platform,testing the performance of the motor and collecting waveform data in the process of motor running,all of the data proved that the design of switched reluctance motor speed control system completely satisfy the use requirement of low-speed electric cars.
