Switched reluctance motor(SRM)has simple structures,low cost,high reliability,flexible control mode,and superior drive performance.It has shown excellent application potential in many fields,such as,electric vehicles.However,its own double salient pole structure causes the SRM to have larger torque pulsation during operation,which limits its own development and application to a certain degree.Therefore,how to suppress the torque ripple of SRM has become a hot area of research in the field of SRM.This article introduces the background and research direction of SRM,which analyzes and derives the operation principle and mathematical model of SRM.It is also aimed at the complicated problem of SRM’s internal electromagnetic relationship,and ANSYS Maxwell software is used to carry out finite element analysis on SRM.It uses the RMxprt module in the software to model the SRM,which analyzes the motor performance under rated conditions,and determine the motor parameters.The research uses the Maxwell 2D module in the software to analyze the changes in the magnetic field distribution inside the motor,then,perform a transient analysis on it to obtain the nonlinear data of the SRM and draw the nonlinear data curve.With the analysis of common control strategies of SRM and the shortcomings of the traditional torque distribution function,the online compensation torque distribution function is used.Considering the influence of the switching angle on the torque ripple,Glowworm swarm optimization is used to optimize the switching angle of the SRM,and the final design is an online compensation torque distribution function control strategy based on Glowworm swarm optimization.The nonlinear simulation system of SRM torque closed-loop control is established in MATLAB,and the designed control strategy is added to the simulation system.Through comparative analysis,this strategy effectively reduces the torque ripple rate and has a good suppression effect on the torque ripple of the motor.
