With the rapid development of society and the fast pace of urbanization,the quality of the people's lives is gradually improved.Meanwhile,it forces the water supply network to change and expand the speed of development.Further,the topology of the network becomes more complex.At present,most of the cities still adopt the traditional way to manage the water supply pipe network.However,the traditional way is no longer adapted to the practical requirements of modern water supply network.In this paper,we introducethe three-dimensional GIS technology,combining with modern management technology,in order to research the urban water supply pipe network management system.In this paper,we regard a county of Xingtai city water supply network as the research object.Through the analysis of the existing problems in the management of water supply network,we use the currently advanced 3D GIS technology and combine with the development trend of modern water supply network management system.We conducted an in-depth visualization analysis of urban water supply pipe network management system.In this paper,we firstly determine the system objectives,and make a system feasibility and requirements analysis.According to the principle of system design,we summarizethe overall structure of the system.Then,we introduce the specific work flow of each function module of the system in detail.Next,we use the current mainstream Super Map software as GIS technology platform and establish the three-dimensional model of water supply pipe,valve,water meter,water pump,fire hydrants by 3DS Max software.Then,we adopt Visual C# language,Super uses relational database SQL Server supporting by spatial database perfect Super Map SDX+ and Super Objects component technology to develop 3D GIS in water supply network mixed management system which is based on B/S and C/S.The system can realize the visualization of three-dimensional water supply pipe network and the function of the management of the water distribution network.This system employs the methodof authority grade to manage to enterprise users.The three-dimensional GIS water supply network management can browse,query,search,edit and statistics and other operations in the network data information.In addition,it own the professional network analysis functions,including hydraulic calculation,pipe burstanalysis and close valve analysis.This system introduces three dimensional GIS technology to realize 3D visualization of water supply pipe network and professional analysis function of pipe network.Through the test of system function,the system can directly and clearly show the city underground water supply network.It can provide the most reasonable plan to close the valve for water supply company in the case of pipe burst.Finally,it confirms the utility of three-dimensional GIS management system of water supply network.
