Cone crusher is a kind of mineral material crushing equipment.Because of stable performance and good quality of crushing particle size, cone crushers are widely used in various fields, such as metallurgical mining, building materials, and so on. With the development of economy, cone crushers play a more and more important role in the industrial activities. Through the extrusion caused by relative motion between several sliding friction pairs, cone crushers can crush the materials. So good lubrication of the friction pairs are the precondition of their stable and reliable operation, if pairs are bad lubricated, each part can produce serious friction and high heat. It will influence machine work and production efficiency of the company seriously. So research and analysis of cone crusher lubricating system has important theretical value and practical significance. This paper is to provide the reference for the engineering design through research and analysis of cone crusher lubrication system.Based on a certain type of cone crusher, the lubricant part is first determined and the work loads are calculated. Then as main force components of the cone crusher, the contact stress of spherical bearing is analyzed according to the real working condition. The last, the lubricating oil flow of each part is estimated, and the total flow of the whole lubrication system of cone crusher is obtained preliminarily according to the principle of heat balance.The flow distribution of the lubtricating parts is closely related to the throttling effect of pipeline,if pipe diameters are unreasonable, it will lead to serious uneven distribution of lubricant. Based on the analysis of the structure and lubrication mechanism, the finite element model is established using Ansys-fluent.The pressure distribution, velocity distribution and flow of the whole flow channel are obtained. The influences on flow distribution and the other parameters are analyzed while the the pipe diameter changing,and the diameter size is optimized.The numerical model for dynamic pressure sliding bearing is established and related programs are developed using Fortran language. The lubricating performance of two important sliding bearings in cone crusher are analyzed and the pressure distribution, temperature distribution and film thickness distribution are obtained. The effects of bearing speed and clearance changing on its performance are discussed, and the results have reference for bearing design of cone crusher lubrication system.
