The Design And Research Of Reparative Reconstruction For Street Elevation In Historical Concession District

The 21 st century is the period of China’s urbanization rapid development, the scale of the urban space becomes cramped, a large area of old city reconstruction appeared in this period, but due to the facade protection design of buildings and blocks is not systematic, that caused a lot of constructive destruction of old buildings and blocks during the process of transforming, sadly, a large number of cultural heritage gradually disappear.The facade design is an important part of urban public space design, the facade landscape of buildings and blocks will directly affect people’s visual experience and state of life. Through the study of historical concession area forming process, cultural heritages and style characteristics, and then summarizing the general development principle and trend of the historical concession area, at the same time, mining the essentials and relevant factors of facade renovation and restoration design, proposing integrity protection system of facade design for the urban historical and cultural blocks renovation and update.This paper, taking Wuhan Russian concession district Lihuangpi Road’s renovation and repair design as an example, aimed at the problems found in the landscape facade reconstruction design of concession buildings and blocks, how to understand, analyze and solve the problem from the aspects of material, form, color and aesthetic has been discussed, I also put forward the principle and method of buildings and blocks facade design, hope to be able to provide some referential design ideas and research methods for the relevant projects about urban historical and cultural blocks facade renovation.
