| With the rapid development of the city and the continuous expansion of its scale,the situation of historical urban areas in the city is becoming increasingly difficult.Increasing traffic pressure,outdated infrastructure,chaotic street features,and other phenomena force urban historical blocks to be rectified and repaired through protection and renovation.The development of a city and the protection and renewal of historical blocks require the inheritance of characteristics and the continuation of style and features.As a characteristic city with great cultural heritage,Qingdao’s unique European historical style and architectural features should be inherited.Building facades,as the main presentation carrier of urban style and features,under the premise of their numerous facade elements,diverse facade forms,and interference from elements,how to accurately extract the most representative facade element information is the top priority.From the perspective of exploring the origin of things,this article explains the theoretical method of architectural facade design-the prototype extraction and design application research of architectural facade elements based on prototype theory.The facade elements of Qingdao historical buildings are extracted in their stable and unchanging form through scientific methods,as the most representative facade element prototype.The purpose of the study is to explore the origin of the facade design of historical buildings,reveal the prototype features of historical buildings,and guide the facade design of new or renovated buildings through the understanding of the deep structure of prototypes.This article focuses on the prototype extraction and translation application of facade elements of historical buildings in Qingdao.The facade elements are divided into functional and characteristic elements.Based on this,roof prototypes,door and window prototypes,pillar prototypes,decorative symbol prototypes,material prototypes,color prototypes,and facade composition prototypes are analyzed.The credibility of prototype extraction is verified through questionnaire surveys,and the application methods of prototype translation are explored,Finally,taking the actual engineering project of Qingdao Metro Line 4 Signal Hill(Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University)Station as an example,a prototype translation application focusing on facade design is carried out to verify the design operability of the extracted facade element prototype.Through prototype analysis and design practice of architectural facade elements of historical style and features in Qingdao historical blocks,it is hoped to protect and inherit the characteristics of Qingdao historical buildings,and provide new ideas for the renovation and design of architectural facades in blocks. |
