Relying on good natural environment, the boutique resort hotel provides pleasant and humanized hotel service facility and recreational environment. The built environment and outdoor landscape of the hotel all have strong local cultural characteristics and special historical memory, which is the model of regional culture expression. The coming of experience time and the pursuit of individuation prompts the boutique resort hotel to become the developing direction of the future resort hotel.China has a vast mountains and rivers with abundant natural landscapes, which provides adequate choices for the site selection of boutique resort hotel. However, we must recognize that Chinese boutique resort hotel is still at the initial stage. China is still short of experience in the aspect of landscape design, especially how to achieve the unique peculiarity and regionalism. Or the handling methods of flat was used when dealing with special physiognomy, which destroyed the original geomorphic feature, and made the hotel separate from natural landscape without the harmony and unity between hotel and the nature.This paper researches the definition and features of resort hotel, boutique hotel, boutique resort hotel and landscape design from the fundamentality. Meanwhile, it insists the principle of “people first”, analyzes the psychological need and behavior characteristics of tourists, and concludes the need direction of outdoor landscape by the tourists of boutique resort hotel. It researches the features of outdoor landscape of the boutique resort hotel, thus combining the practicability with dicoration of outdoor landscape to meet the development need of hotels.This paper specifically analyzes all kinds of elements that affects the landscape design of boutique resort hotel, proposes relevant solutions and strategies according to different influence on landscape design by regional culture, theme culture, climate, surrounding environment, tourists’ psychological needs and hotel building. Then it concludes the principle and key points of the landscape design of boutique resort hotel. On this basis, it summarizes and puts forward relevant design methods, and finds out the direction and route that fit for the landscape design of boutique resort hotel. Finally, it demonstrates the opinions of this paper with combining the landscape design practice of the double gallery “Gallery Bridge Linghai”, Hangzhou Lingyin and Guangzhou Huangge boutique resort hotel. |
