| In the current new energy technology has not been a breakthrough, the energy crisis has been the practical problem that we need to face. Energy saving, green, sustainability and some other similar words are frequently used in various occasions. Construction industry, occupying the top spot in the earth energy consumption, can not be avoided to put this into its own direction of development. The atrium is an important part in many successful green building or ecological building cases in domestic and foreign, and even becomes indispensable. The atrium offers places for natural climate exchange in indoor and outdoor space for buildings, and plays a positive role in overall energy efficiency, climate control and environmental purification. However, it doesn’t work so well in real life. Due to its large size and the adoption of a large number of glass, it often brings huge energy consumption because of improper designs. Therefore, the ecological characteristics of atrium space remain to be further studied and excavated.The green design of the atrium, not only needs correct layout and reasonable shape, but also achieves the unity of economic and environmental goals by combining leading role of climatic factors and the proper design with structure retaining. "BIM software platform- the data format- professional analysis software" constitutes the BIM Technology basic model in energy consumption and environmental integrated application. BIM Technology can deal with complex data calculation and real-time dynamic simulation. Architects can easily do analysis on climate, physical environment and energy consumption and performance. In return, those analysis results can help architects to make reasonable adjustments for the program to achieve green energy-saving building design.This paper regards the application of BIM Technology Simulation Analysis in green atrium design as the research direction. Starting from the ecological characteristics of the atrium, it is based on the theory of simulation analysis of construction design at the early stage, and studies suitable and scientific methods of BIM Technology in green atrium design by combining with field climate and atrium building design. First of all, the paper introduces the ecological characteristics of the atrium and its application in green buildings. Then, it analyzes strategies and existing problems of the traditional green atrium designs and application of BIM Technology in green building designs. Based on above, it sums up advantages that the BIM simulation analysis technology is applied to the building designs in the early period, and comes up with the idea that the goal of simulation analysis at this stage is not as simple as design verification by strategy research of the BIM Technology in green atrium design. Instead, the goal should be playing an auxiliary role to architects in sustainable design by comparing different design strategies. The last but not the least, taking a design case as an example, it elaborates the method and the process that the BIM Technology assists green atrium design by BIM Simulation Analysis software application. |
