The tube scraper conveyor use scraper chain or steel wire rope as the traction element which conveyed powder or particles along the pipe. It has the characteristics of stable performance, low energy consumption, environmental protection and sealing in the whole conveying system. also can be horizontal, vertical and inclined combination arrangement to carry on the transportation. But the current calculation of pipe chain tension is not perfect; and the effect of conveying material characteristics on the surface of the bending section and unloading is great. In this paper, the theoretical analysis is carried out by constructing the mechanical model, and the movement of materials in pipe is simulated by discrete element software, puts forward the corresponding solutions. The project "high efficiency tube pipe conveyor system" belongs to the "Shanxi Key Laboratory of intelligent logistics equipment".In this paper, starting from the running resistance of the tube scraper conveyor, the coal particles are used as the conveying material to study the influence of the characteristics of the coal particles on the running resistance and the behavior of the particles in the conveying pipe. At the same time, it has great significance for the promotion of tube scraper conveyor.
