Logistics industry is developing rapidly in our country,through further integration and development it gradually towards the direction of large-scale,standardization,coordination.The vertical screw conveyor as the key part of bulk material conveying equipment,it equipment at the port of bulk dedicated rates are high,and its application is very extensive.Because of its bad working environment,there are many problems in the use,the transmission efficiency is low,energy efficiency is low,material blockage and particle breakage,so many problems need to solve,the conveyor advanced design is required.There are still some defects and deficiency in the design of vertical screw conveyor,the relevant work experience of the designers has a greater influence for the product on the structure and performance parameters,and the design and calculation is lack of scientific nature and accuracy to some extent.Through the research on the transport theory and design method of screw conveyor,the design and calculation software of vertical screw conveyor is compiled on the platform of Visual Basic with the principle of the highest conveying efficiency,based on the actual engineering statistical data of the <lian xu shu song ji xie she ji shou ce>.Through the discrete element simulation software EDEM,the simulation parameters are determined by the calibration experiment,and the lifting process of the vertical screw conveyor is simulated to further verify the accuracy and reliability of the special design software.Using the powerful post-processing tool of EDEM,this paper analyzes the flow state,the spatial distribution of material particles and the force acting on the structure parts of the conveyor.According to the load distribution of stable conveying helix,the parametric analysis of the helix of the vertical screw conveyor is done by parametric design language(APDL)with using finite element software ANSYS as a plat,and get the natural frequency and the dangerous position of the helix,that should attract the necessary attention of designers in the design.Finally,based on the finite element analysis,the lightweight design of the helix body is optimized by particle swarm optimization algorithm.
