It is usually powered by aviation ground power for the aircraft daily cleaning,maintenance and the engine starting and line maintenance. The power supply quality and performance of ground power decide whether it is safe for the aircraft to use the ground power.The user equipment of the aircraft can not work well or even get damaged if the performance of the ground power is poor. So the characteristic detection of aviation ground power is very meaningful.The item of measurement research on the transient characteristics of aviation ground power based on virtual instrument technology comes from the item of aircraft ground power test system which is from the civil aviation administration of China, the test system is based on virtual instrument, and it follows the requirements of international and civil aviation standards strictly and set out the testing standard of the transient characteristics of the ground power. It designed to check whether the ground power is fulfilled the requirements of the relevant rules. The system can protect the aircraft from getting damaged when using the aviation ground power, and it offers a reference for the maintenance of the aviation ground power.The test system uses a graphical programming software LabVIEW and high precision data acquisition card. After processing the signal acquisition, the analysis and processing of signal using LabVIEW programming software, realize the function of test system.Finally the test results are displayed by computer. The test system is user-friendly, easy operation and with high accuracy, at the same time it has a powerful graphic display and report processing function. The system uses a modular programming designed with great flexibility and scalability, functional modules can be extended by add applications to better meet the needs of users.
