Warehouse cargo location is an effective means to improve the efficiency of warehouse management, which is to provide accurate location information of cargo space. At present, in warehouse, the goods location research is limited in 2-D location. Cargo height estimates the average source extensions on the plane location, through the warehouse space position in the deployment of RFID reader and reference tags to obtain goods height. Due to the accuracy of cargo positioning and deployment density is positively related to the density of the deployment and the cost of the restrictions, resulting in a high degree of accuracy is estimated to be low, cannot meet the actual needs of the warehouse management. Therefore, it is of great practical significance to provide a more reliable data base for the location of warehouse cargo space, and to improve the level of warehouse management services.In the article, in allusion to the estimation of the goods storage altitude, from a single mobile read write device on the characteristics of RFID antenna, put forward the RFID system method of array antenna arrangement, to improve the availability of data acquisition. Based on the actual data of RFID, analyzes the position and height of read tag signal strength, the number of relations, proposed height estimation method of warehouse location. Finally, the design of the warehouse goods height estimation system. Here are the main point in the article:(1) Antenna array optimization method. At present, the antenna array configuration has not consider the estimation of the altitude of goods location. Thus, we propose an optimum pattern about RFID reader antenna configuration with analyzing the RFID structure, simulating the antenna model in HFSS. Consequently, we improve the antenna array configuration and it can promote the data validity.(2) Establishment of the model for estimating the position of warehouse cargo. With analyzing the present indoor position arithmetic and actual data situation, we think that we do not estimate the altitude with only one parameter. Besides, we have a data treatment and receive the data. We combine the signal intensity and times with K-Nearest Neighbor Classification Algorithm, to promote a perfection algorithm and establish optimum model.(3) Design and implementation of warehouse cargo location height estimation system. With the present technology and soft-hardware situation, we build the system, realize the goal in practical condition and analyze the consequences.At last, the goods altitude estimation system has been built and tested by the practical data. The result shows that the method we proposed can estimate the altitude of the location. Comparing to the practical location, the precision of the tray is up to 97% and the precision of the practical location is up to 85%. Therefore, the research in the article can provide comparatively accurate altitude of location estimation. And it is good for the automatic warehouse inventory and goods access practical application.
