With continuous expansion of the city scale, the residents’ travel distance and travel destination is becoming increasingly complex, and a single mode of transport has been unable to meet the needs. It is an important means to solve the traffic problems to develop the public transport of multi-mode, and balance the proportion between public transport and cars’ trip. However, the various modes of transportation still exist many problems, like too long travel time, inconvenient connection between diffident modes, lacking of information services, and so on. It lacks related research about choice behavior to combined modes and specific effect of transformation of traffic mode under the condition of information service. Therefore, this paper establish a mode choice model based on the theory of random utility, including the multi-mode public transport and the car, to study on the choice behavior of travelers. It is of great significance to explore the disadvantages of the travel mode, to make the guiding policy of traffic travel. Besides, it can provide important support for the overall planning of all the transportation mode, the improvement of the public transport lines, the increasing proportion of public transportation, and the balanced development of internal mode in public transport.The article analyzes the problems existing in the present travel status, and establish the nested Logit model about combined travel modes’ choice behavior, selected characteristics of travelers, travel characteristics, characteristics of travel mode as characteristic variables. The model’s result after analysis of the significant influence can be used to explain the travel behavior, travel mode choice’s probability calculation, structure’s prediction of traffic mode.Based on the analysis of the survey of information services, this paper further studies on the mechanism of travel mode choice behavior under information service, and the service is by shortening the waiting time, transfer time to influencing the selection results. By means of mathematical statistics and the BL model, the article makes a comprehensive study on the cars’ transfer amount changing with the waiting time and transfer time, and in public transport, especially on the composition ratio of subway and bus with the dynamic changes of the time under the vehicle. Finally, some traffic management services are given to the corresponding traffic management department.
