The technology of WMA is a new green engineering for road construction. Compared with the traditional HMA, mixing and compaction temperature of WMA is relatively small. WMA could save energy and reduce emissions of toxic and harmful gases. It also have good road performance, with wide application prospect. In recent years, Beijing city experienced the attack of "haze", repeatedly. The problem that energy saving and environmental protection had become the focus of the whole society. This paper took the Beijing area as the object, the technical performance and construction technology of WMA was studied, which provides technical support for Beijing city to promote the technology of WMA.The results of WMA performance showed that the better mixing temperature of Sasobit and base asphalt, DAT and base asphalt, Sasobit and SBS modified asphalt, SBS modified asphalt were 160?, 150?, 160?, 140?,respectively. Better dosage of two kinds of warm mix agent in asphalt has been determined, the dosage of Sasobit was 3%, the dosage of DAT was 10%The result of warm mix agent on the stage of asphalt aging showed that in the aging stage, the Sasobit had no significant effect on the asphalt viscosity, and the viscosity of SBS modified asphalt was significantly affected by DAT. In the aging stage of the pressure, the warm mix agent of the asphalt mixture had a certain effect on the performance of the asphalt, and the viscosity reducing effect of DAT was more obvious, and the viscosity reducing effect of Sasobit was better than that of DAT.The results of WMA design showed that the AC-13 C warm mix of SBS modified asphalt mixture in the dosage of DAT was 10%, the warm mix mixing temperature was 140?.Under that condition, the optimum asphalt content was 4.9%, and the road performance of the test specimen could meet the requirements of specification.The results of technology and economic analysis showed that WMA could greatly reduce emissions of toxic and harmful gases, and improve the construction environment, and protect the health of the construction workers. Compared with the HMA, in the process of heating, warm mix technology could save fuel 20%.
