With the development of economy, the extensive mode of economic development of high energy consumption and high emission has brought many problems to the environment.Countries are seeking to use clean energy to reduce the adverse impact on the environment.Civil aviation industry is also responsible for energy-saving emission reduction. Following the deepening of the work for energy conservation and emissions reduction and the analysis of the year for buying the special vehicles, 24% of the special vehicles can be replaced by electric special vehicles. All kinds of special vehicles in the airport need to be matched with the battery management system. At the same time, the battery management system is adjusted according to different vehicle battery types. Battery management system become more and more complicated, it can increase the service life of battery and increase the safety of the vehicles.According to the characteristic of the special vehicles intermittent work and working condition of the airfield runway, battery management system is designed, which is following the demand of experts. First of all, we study the impact of the relevant assessment parameters on the battery power, and the research on the battery model of lithium iron phosphate battery,then full charge number of the battery, SOC estimation, statistical power, the prediction of battery power output is discussed.Then based on STM32 processor as the core, the hardware circuit divided by functional partition is made, including power circuit design, signal conditioning circuit, data storage circuit, communication circuit design. Finally the software programming with operating system is completed. In the environment of a laboratory, the design and development of power management system is tested. The results show that this system can realize the expected function and has higher accuracy and stability.
