With the rapid development of electric vehicle technology,hybrid vehicles and electric cars have appeared in the market.In this paper,according to the operating characteristics and application requirements of electric vehicles,combined with Ni MH power battery,a set of embedded power management system of power battery is designed.The power management system can realize the on-line estimation of the battery's state of charge,the real-time monitoring of the performance parameters(output current,voltage and temperature,etc.),the fault diagnosis of the battery,the balanced protection and early warning.In this paper,the characteristics of Ni-MH battery are analyzed from the aspects of working principle and basic parameters,by studying the existing battery state of charge estimation methods,an improved SIR particle filter algorithm is proposed to estimate the charge state of the battery,through the comparison with the Extended Kalman Filter algorithm,establishing a battery model and identifying parameter,the simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm accuracy.And puts forward the design scheme of the power management system,then gives the system design parameters and the expected realization of the function,completed the hardware circuit design of power management system based on S3C2440 A processor as the core,according to different functions into different modules,given the specific design of each module circuit and circuit diagram.Finally,completed a write function software and embedded operating system uC/OS-II transplantation in RealView MDK,debugged a power management system for Interactive interface LCD.After completing the design of the whole system,the rationality of the power management system is verified through the comparison experiment and data analysis.
