China is a large agricultural country in the world, and the level of economic in rural areas is relatively behindhand, the disparity between urban and rural areas continuing to widen. Rural road is the important infrastructure for operating and developing of production and life in rural areas normally. The planning of rural road plays an important role in promoting the construction of itself and economic development of the whole rural areas.Firstly, the paper analyzes the researches domestic and foreign about road network planning, conclusing that there are large discriminations between planning methods,due to differences in the nature of road network. Rural road can not be programmed by disaggregate analysis. Then based on the conception and development mechanism of rural road, the paper summarizes the particularity compared with other trunk roads. According to the actual situation in rural areas of our country, the paper confirms nodes as basic units and the research idea of point-line-surface.Secondly, the paper studys the planning methods of rural road network. On the basis of the principles and methods of road network planning, the paper studys the methods for scale prediction in relation with rural road network and puts forward upper and lower limits. Combining the theory of the node important degree, the paper probes optimal layout tree and the clustering and Prim algorithm.Then, considering the actual situation of rural road planning, the paper establishes a hierarchical index system for comprehensive evaluation, and proposes the optimized method based on Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation to evaluate rural road planning.Finally, through systematic analysis and research on the past and current situation of economy and transportion in Xingning, a district of Nanning, combining with the reality of rural roads, the paper discusses the scale, network planning and comprehensive evaluation for the proposal.
