The Research On Urban Wetland Park Facilities Design

Urban wetland park, a special form of city park, is a kind of important way to protecting and utilizing the wetland recourses. Facilities design is a necessary part of the urban wetland park construction. The reasonable, beautiful and scientific facilities can make the wetland park do better in protecting and utilizing wetland resources. Because of the unique geographical location of urban wetland park, the facilities design has many different parts from normal park. The special surrounding environment and tourists of urban wetland park should be taken into consideration. Usually, The features of urban wetland park are not taken into consideration so that many facilities in urban wetland park could not satisfied the visual requirements of people and the wetland resources could not be protected better by the wetland park. So it is necessary to do research on the facilities design in urban wetland park.The common features and the problem of facilities in urban wetland park are summarized according to the investigation and analysis of many existing design of facilities in urban wetland park. Two urban wetland park, East Lake national wetland park and Hong Kong wetland park, are analyzed on surrounding environment and the facilities design in our work. The facilities design are discussed from five parts, which are function, modelling, color, material and humanity. The principles of facilities design in urban wetland park, the priority principle of ecological protection, environment coordinated principle, wetland cultural transmission principle, economy and environmental-friendly principle, interaction principle, characteristics of the time principle and function comprehensive principle. These principles for urban wetland facilities design provide theoretical basis for the design of the facilities. The construction of urban wetland park could be better by these principles.Finally, under the guidance of design principles, the facilities in Gedian wetland park are planning and designed. The facilities of culture display area in the park are designed completely. The facilities design is based on the seven design principles and modern Chinese style is chosen to representing the local culture. This facilities design could satisfy the functional requirements and the sustainable development design concept is advocated. The achievements of deign indicates the advantage of facilities designed under the guidance of design principles, that is more perfect functions, reasonable planning, harmonious colours, environmental-friendly material, more suitable modeling and making up the deficiencies of existing facilities. So, the design principles could develop the quality of facilities in urban wetland park. The principles are important for protecting the urban environment and constructing the urban.
