In recent years,The intensity of highway network construction in China continues to strengthen. Along with the continuous improvement of road network, its density is close to saturation. At the same time, the cement concrete pavement which has been built in the early is having more and more serious structural failure. Even some new road has loosed part of its function because of the design and construction or the traffic load. So we should strengthen the road maintenance when we keep building new road to promoting economic development.The maintenance of the old cement concrete pavement reinforces road structure to avoid further damage. The second, the function of road surface will be recovered which can improve the traffic safety and driving comfort. Finally, the maintenance exploits material of the old cement concrete pavement maximum. Comparing with building new road, it has better economy and environmental protection.In this paper, following the clue of actual engineering process, the whole maintenance plan was summarized from the collecting of the road maintenance information, the old pavement detection and disease investigation, disease analysis and comprehensive treatment to the final pavement maintenance scheme. For reference purposes for persons concerned, technical solutions and methods used to be adopted were emphasized with some supplement about some other theories and methods. This paper proposes asphalt top layer overlay solution and thin top layer overlay solution purposefully based on different destructional form of old pavement. In order to promote new technologies and materials, The latest achievements of G110 road test section(ChangPing-YanQing section) were quoted in the related section.
