| With the rapid development of economy in China, the growth of metro is very fast. Subway has become the first choice for people to travel in Beijing.The subway not only links the major commercial circle within Beijing, but also gradually form a sum of metro commercial circles in different scale along the line. As a framework of the metro commercial circle, Pedestrian system not only has a traffic function, but also plays an important role in economy, leisure, recreation and business. However,those stuff are often ignored.So far, the research about pedestrian system are concentrated in evacuation, path finding, traffic, environment, etc. The paper is trying to focus on the point that the pedestrian system contributes economic prosperity to metro commercial circle, based on investigations of Beijing metro commercial circles; analyze the features of metro commercial circles, walking condition and pedestrians; sum up the problems about pedestrian system in Beijing metro commercial circles by analyzing the contents of pedestrian system, traffic level, spatial relationship and associated units; establish pedestrian system design principles, trying to give some design strategies and recommendations from layout, streamline organization and walking environment aspects.The first chapter is about the research background, research status in China and abroad, research purpose, significance, methods and framework.The second chapter introduces the related concepts and subject investigated;analyzes metro commercial circles and pedestrians; put forward the necessity of research on the pedestrian system in Beijing metro commercial circles.The third chapter analyzes the pedestrian system from different aspects, and summarizes the main problems existing in the pedestrian system of Beijing metro commercial circles.In the forth chapter, design strategies about layout, flow organization, pedestrian environment are proposed, based on the principles of integrity, stratification and environmental relevance. |
