CFB boiler combustion technology developed in recent decades embodies the characteristics of cleaned burning. It is widely used and developed throughout the world. Because of its special way of burning and structure characteristic, it makes a high material concentration in the furnace and the gas-solid flow field is not stable. All of these make a serious abrasion to the boiler. The abrasion of the CFB boiler is the main factor restricting the safety and steady operation of CFB boiler for long term. It is also the difficulty needed to be solve in both of academic theory and engineering practice.This subject takes abrasion problem of Dong Fang power station CFB boiler as example, conducting cold state experiment and using numerical simulation, studied on the abrasion of CFB boiler. Firstly, according to the abrasion mechanism, the view of CFB abrasion is caused by a variety of abrasion mechanism. Secondly, numerical research of gas-solid flow field in CFB boiler is conducted, and particle pressure, velocity, and volume fraction of different parts are got. Result of simulation shows, the higher velocity and pressue, the badly abrasion will be. So the main abrasion position can be predicted. By conducting the cold state experiment, the pressure in different height of boiler and separator are got. Comparative analysis shows, the error of experimental and simulated values are under 10%. The abrasion parts coming from the experiment and simulation basically coincides to the actual field's. In the end, according to different abrasion mechanisms, anti-wear methods are presented optimized.The research shows that the combination methods of CFB boiler cold state experiment and numerical simulation can improve the accuracy of the results, and more closely meet the field data. It also can predict the badly wear damaged parts, reducing the number of non-stop accidents, improve the efficiency. The results can provide theoretical and technical supports for CFB boiler abrasion technology research.
