The research of civil aircraft’s fuel leakage fire is limited by fund, security,environmental protection and other factors, making it unrealistic to conduct model experiment directly. Therefore, it has become a more feasible method to imitate the conflagration process in cabin with computer’s simulation software and conduct model research of the fire on exterior airframe with the model of pool fire.This paper taked airliner B737-800 as an example, assuming that the fire caused by fuel leakage from the plane’s striking the ground and entering into the cabin through breakage. Then, importing the geometric model from AutoCAD to PyroSim, FDS visual modeling software, a simulation mode of the cabin fire was established. The fire’s simulation environment was designed through mesh generation, source of ignition’s setting up and fire monitoring facilities installment. Besides, it also analysed the smoke spreading model with leaking fuel and the changes of temperature, the concentration of CO and visibility. Next it gived some suggestions with reference by the result, which can provide basis for the crew’s guiding and evacuation for passengers, the choice of escaping route and evacuation export and offer guidance for exercise of plane’s fire emergency escaping and evacuation and the fire-prevention design of the cabin’s function perfection.Meanwhile, with the assumed calculation of the amount of loaded fuel when the plane hit the ground, this paper computed the heat radiation damage with the fuel leakage computational model of pool fire. Combining the function of firefighter’s protective clothing, it obtained the safe distance of the critical heat radiation of fire rescue with fuel leakage and also get that different firefighters’ clothing had different safe distances.It can provide firefighters working on the front line with theoretical base of their decisions.
