In order to monitor the quality of electric power, the data of electronic power quality must be collected in the facilities site of electrical substation firstly and then fed into the existing electric power monitoring network for real-time and online analysis. Since the distributed configuration of existing electrical facilities goes against with the construction of the traditional wired communication system, it is necessary to build the wireless data acquisition and relay transmission based monitoring system of electric power data.In this thesis, the development of the electric power quality monitoring system is investigated and we analyzed the disadvantages of current power system in power quality online monitoring, that is the lack of real-time property, weak of information security and so on. Then we constructed a real-time data acquisition and relay transmission system for the industry process and proposed a wireless communication protocol for electric power quality data as well as a real-time data relay cache manage method under the condition of coexisting of heterogeneous wireless network. By employing the wireless digital radio, both the transmission of data and classification cache of data are realized which between the real-time acquisition terminal and the front-end terminal.The efficiency of the proposed system is verified by the experiments of electric power quality data acquisition and relay wireless transmission which are carried out by the State radio inspection center of Shenzhen and Shanghai electric power co.
