A Study Of Airport Cargo Human Resource Scheduling

In recent years, because of the advantages of speediness and security, the air cargo industry has been rapidly development and it allowed airlines pay more attention to the air cargo. In the airline's development strategies, the previous "contempt for cargo and emphasis on passenger" changed in to "passenger and cargo simultaneously". With the increase in freight traffic, it is difficult for the airport to deploy human resources; the traditional deployment method based on experience can not optimize staffing and make workload balancing. So the study of airport cargo human resource scheduling and the use of modern means to achieve automated deployment for the staffing have a great significance!In the field of operations research, the scheduling problem could be resolved based on the method of set covering which through reasonable arrangements for personnel making all the tasks have been covered. The article first analyzed the current personnel shifts from a domestic cargo airline, and then proposed scheduling model based on the characteristics of air cargo. In this model, the scheduling problem is divided into several stages questions-staffing needs and statistics, the determination of shift, the formation of shift string and the distribution of shift string. In the established shift phase, according to whether the length of time is fixed, the shift is divided into two categories, and be dealt with separately. For the shift which has fixed length of time, we used linear programming method, for another, we designed experiments using genetic algorithms and simulated annealing algorithm; In the established shift string phase, we established mathematical model based on the shift which generated at an earlier stage, and designed experiments using greedy algorithm. Consider the shortcomings of uneven distribution of tasks caused by the greedy algorithm; this paper also presents a new algorithm based on the network to meet the shortfall. The scheduling method of loading workers whose work is closely related with the air cargo is discussed independently. In that chapter, pre-scheduling model and real-time scheduling model been proposed.
