| For increase the efficiency of the rail transportation and ensure the safe of the rail transportation, as the most important equipment in the rail transportation, locomotive needs more monitoring equipments and automatic train control equipment to make sure the safe of the locomotive operation. During the operating time, monitoring equipments and automatic train control equipment will generate a lot of state data needed recording. Therefore, locomotive require a new kind of information monitoring and recording system.Based on the analysis of the monitoring equipments and automatic train control equipment, the requirement of communication between information monitoring and recording system and other equipment is summarized. We also summarize the requirement of the data storage of information monitoring and recording system. By studying the function of each communication buses, Enthernet/IP and CAN bus are chosen as the communication way of the system. After analyzing the performance of CAN bus, several improvement measures are proposed to increasing the performance of CAN bus. Based on the CANopen protocol, the application protocol of the information monitoring and recording system is designed. A sample information monitoring and recording system is designed with TMS320VC5509 processing and XC6SLX9 FPGA chip, including major control circuit, CAN communication circuit,Enthernet communication circuit, data storage circuit, and data transfer circuit.Software which supporting the function of the information monitoring and recording system is designed.The functions of data communication, data storage, and data transfer are tested at the sample information monitoring and recording system. The result of the test confirms that the sample information monitoring and recording system works well and the design reach the goals. Finally the deficiency existing in the thesis is also analyzed and the direction of needing to improve and implement in the future is put forward. |
