At present, the humanity is facing the challenge of energy crisis.However, windpower is more competitive than other renewable clean energy. So it is developing rapidly.Field bus technology is very mature in the application of wind power and so we have adetailed study on field bus technology. In order to improve the stability and operationefficiency of the fieldbus technology in wind power control system that we will havein-depth study about wind power control system of CAN bus.Traditional wind turbine control system is based on RS485bus. RS485is only canconstitute master-slave structure and real-time reliability is relatively poor compared withthe CAN bus control system. In this paper, we will introduce the characteristics of CANbus and CANOPEN protocol in detail. We will also analyze the CANOPEN protocolstructure, communication methods, the composition of object dictionary and the possibilityin practical engineering. The wind turbine control node hardware will be designed in thispaper and we will explain the station control system software design of CANOPENprotocol, the application layer protocol and the configuration operation related systeminitialization register in data communication between master-slave station.This paper adopted the embedded RTThread operating system in the station node andtransplant CANFestival on STM32micro controller which is wrapped in RTThreadoperating system. We will built the experimental platform under laboratory conditions andensure the reliability through the system experimental data.
