Along with the developing of domestic nuclear power industry, it's essential to empolder 1000 MW class nuclear generator with independent intellectual property rights. As critical part in generator, the stator core's pressing quality will influence the safety and service life of generator greatly. The dissertation mainly applies the finite element method and factory test to explore how to improve the pressing quality for stator core.In view of various stator core structure and finger plate introversion, by analyzing strength, stiffness of stator core with ANSYS software, thereby defined the internal pressure distribution. Finite element analysis confirms when the structure of end core is type ? and finger plate introversion value is 2.0mm, not only it can fully explore finger plate's strength capability, but also make the pressure distribution more uniformly, which ensured the pressing quality. Finite element analysis for the pressing frock determines to add support structure at the block plate. As a result, it reduces the finger plate stress and increases the tooth stress of iron core, which ensured the pressing quality based on processing. The dissertation measured the finger plate introversion in actual product. Find the measured value is basically identical with theoretical value, and all measured values are very stable in pressing process, which proved that theoretical pre-compensation for finger plate takes part in uniformity of stator core tooth part. All the conclusions in the paper have been take action to the designing and manufacturing in 1000 MW class nuclear generator project, which guarantee the pressing quality and operational reliability of stator core based on mechanism.
