Research On Space Evolution Of Russian Style Restaurant In Harbin

Harbin is bordered by Russia in the north whose geographical advantages makes Harbin's Russian style restaurants have unique architectural design. A large-scale population migration created the conditions for the development of Russian style restaurant in Harbin. Along with the social development, the aspects such as the spatial layout and decoration features of Russian style restaurant have some evolution. It has important theoretical and practical significance to understand and study the development and changes of Harbin Russian style restaurant for carrying forward the history and culture of Russian style restaurants, reflecting the local characteristics of Russian style restaurants and revealing the era of Russian style restaurant design aspects such as mutual compatibility.Through investigations and interviews,15 Russian style restaurants in Harbin have been chosen to be researched object in this paper. By synthesis of research methods, with taking pictures of entity and drawing pictures with professional software, the space evolution indoor and outside have been effectively extracted,and put into research.First of all, relevant concepts have been defined. Through the architectural semiotics theory, analysis its design style and cultural connotation, then deepen the research achievements in related fields in China by the research of the domestic and foreign literature and the dining space. Secondly, summarized the origin and culture of Russian style restaurant in Harbin, as well as the development and change, times and memory. Through the integration of historical data and field investigation, analyzed the multicultural of restaurant from aspects of social attributes which influenced by social economy and urban development, from the cultural concern involving folk custom character and humanistic care, consumer properties of humanistic care and fold characteristics, and from the construction of the regional, functional and artistic quality. Thirdly, research the evolution of the spatial organization, which including Meal area, supporting service area and administrative area and so on. In these areas,pay more attention to the spatial layout and the form of change.Define its architectural style from the restaurant facade of decorative elements and summarize the style changing. At last, study the evolution of Russian style restaurant spatial elements. Research on exterior wall, interior wall, ceiling, and decorative space such as interface and the change of components such as door, window, column have been emphatically studied. Besides, the system research on the changing of spatial art, combining with sculpture, painting and other interior decoration and outdoor advertising, etc, have been carried out to provide the reference for direction of Russian style restaurant design, and inherit and innovate the development of architectural design.
