Study On The Extension And Expression Of Traditional Culture In Modern Wood Architecture

After the second world war,with the affection of the technology development,environmental protection concept and the result of traditional culture wooden construction building is in the period of renaissance.The issue of modern architecture and traditional cultural heritage was no longer an architecture novelty anymore.wood as a kind of traditional material and wood architecture with its long history,inherently demands the integration of modern and traditional culture.This paper tries to explore the historical certainty of the link of modern wood architecture and the superficial relationship with traditional culture,and combine with the development of the methods of traditional cultural extension in modern wood architecture to conclude the influence factors and rules of the traditional culture in modern wood architecture.On the basis of these,this paper analyses the extension of modern wood architecture from tradintional culture and the expression of specific methods from six aspects:woodiness material cultural implications,the traditional forms and symbols of translation,the structure form of extraction and expression,traditional space intention expression,the return of the traditional construction methods and interpretation of traditional philosophical spirit.
