Study On The Design Of Library In Information Era Based On The Interaction Between Space And Behavior

Library Building in Information Era is affected by Digital Information Technology and Communication Science, by which the patterns of information storing, reading and communicating has been changed. This dissertation stands under the backgrounds of the Information Era, based on the analysis of advancing libraries and related theory, and discusses about the design of library under interaction between the library space and the readers'behavior.At first, this paper analyses the evolution of types of traditional library in the information age, and redefines stack room, reading room and communication space by creatively putting forward the concept of "space of information storage" "space of information display" and "Space of information communication", which is based on the discussion of the information media and readers' behavior patterns. On this basis, this paper discusses the design of library under the interaction between space and readers' patterns from two perspectives. Standing in the macroscopic angle, the paper reviews the interactional relationship between space pattern and readers' behavior from four aspects, which are integrated space order, space of information storage, space of information display and space of information communication, to raise the attention of readers' behavior beyond the form of architect. On the other hand, this paper focuses on the interaction between behavior and space medium, conceiving of the new form of space environment and space interface under the direct influence of Digital Information Technology. Nowadays, People are surrounded by ubiquitous information in the space of library, multimedia technology will play increasingly important role in the process of information access and display. Also the traditional space material, interface, device has changed by the influence of multimedia technology, the pattern of the interaction between library space and readers' behavior will be expanded in the future.
