In recent years, there are many reports on natural disasters like terrorist attacks, earthquake, tsunami and landslides around the world, which are great threat to society as well as people's lives and property. In addition to dead load and live load, concrete, as the most important and the most wildly used structural material at present, may withstand accidental load effect like collision and impact during its use. When the impact energy is larger, the structure destruction will be more serious and the loss will be greater, thus it is necessary to study impact behavior of concrete material and its constitutive properties. The research on waste glass concrete mechanics performance under impact load is mainly carried out in this paper. In the drop test, the test specimen is loaded through the impact of the falling heavy hammer, which has the advantage of clear loading condition and simple principle. By changing the drop height and weight, we can adjust the test loading rate and the input energy. Drop test is a common method to test the dynamic compressive properties of concrete and its composite materials and fiber concrete. Based on this, therefore, this paper used the-drop test device to carry out bending test of waste glass powder concrete beam under different loading rate, which studied the relationship between dynamic constitutive and strain rate between the strain rate, observed the damage fracture process of different rate and the failure pattern. Meanwhile, the high speed camera is used to record the impact process, and the load time history curve, strain time history curve, peak load, the load time, the parameters such as maximum tensile strain are obtained as well. Finally, got the strength enhancement effects defined as the beam dynamic increase factor(BDIF). Results show that in certain conditions with the same drop weight, with the increase of drop height, the load rate and peak load of waster glass powder concrete beam are on the rise, so is the impact work on concrete beam.; With the increase of drop weight, the peak load and vertical displacement of waste glass powder concrete beam increased, and the rate effect is obvious. The fracture patterns at high strain rates are quite different from these at low strain rates. The waster glass concrete beam appears multiple cracks at high rate, which is the key factor for the strain-rate effects in concrete. Under the background of continuous collapse resistance, it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the rate related effect mechanism of waste glass powder concrete.
