In order to improve the collection efficiency and reduce the dust content in the flue gas emission of Dingzhou power plant, to meet the new environmental emission requirements.In this paper, based on the working principle of electrostatic precipitator, the various factors affecting the performance of electrostatic precipitator and the formula of dust removal efficiency are analyzed, and the ways and methods to improve the efficiency of electric precipitator are studied. Secondly, the technical characteristics of the three common high voltage power supply are analyzed and summarized. Then, combined with facilities in Dingzhou Power Plant, study the feasibility of three kinds of reconstruction schemes, determine the upgrading Scheme of Dingzhou Power Plant high voltage power supply and control system. Then, through the performance test and the analysis of the test data, the optimal operation mode and the parameter setting of the electric precipitator are determined. Finally, according to the effect of high voltage power supply and control system upgrade, and the more stringent emission requirements, the new technology of combined application of various ectrostatic precipitator, and the dust removal system has been upgraded. Among them, including in the original ESP entrance installation of low temperature economizer, the flue gas conditioning method, reduce the flue gas temperature, and then to improve the dust removal efficiency and energy saving; after wet desulfuration system installation of wet type ectrostatic precipitator, in order to reduce secondary dust, improve the removal efficiency.
