Water is the foundation of a city “lifeline”,all depend on human actives,like blood is to life,the mother to the children,the sun is to the universe.In terms of our country,as the important social relations resources such as population,economy,and gradually moving from villages to cities,especially in recent years accelerated the pace of urbanization construction in our country,water security problem has increasingly become the bottleneck factor of the sustainable development of social economy of our country.Water the fast development of the world industrial economy,the contradiction between human existence and water security increases gradually,the evaluation of regional water security for rational utilization of water resources and increase the degree of water safely,real human society sustainable development is of great significance.Water poverty index(WPI) theoty system from resources,environment,ecological,social economic and other multidisciplinary cross Angle research the status of the evalution of regional water resources security.Theoretical system was proposed in 2002,WPI has got extensive attention and application,a simple,intuitive and easy to understand,the characteristic of the economic and practical,especially for our country in the western region,the complex terrain,uneven distribution of water resources).This article is to use water poverty index theory system of urban water security evaluation.The main research work and research results are as follows:(1) To explore and define the relationship of urban water safely and water poverty index.In the study of international and domestic water safety evalution calculation method on the basis of the selection of water poverty index system on urban water security evaluation.A-iming at comprehensive evaluation problem of urban water security complexity,fuzziness,and characteristics of multilayered,and integrating with the characteristics of the poverty index,put forward the suitable for China's urban poverty index calculation method of water.(2) In this paper,according to the 2014 China statistical yearbook and yearbook,Gansu province development by WPI theory system research evaluation WPI 14 provinces,Gansu province in 2013 and five points index value,according to the actual situation of 14 provinces determines the decision index of five partial factors,and based on factors such as population, economy,area for 14 cities distribution of weight,calculate the average WPI of Gansu province in 2013.(3) According to the calculated Gansu 14 provinces WPI and five points index value one by one to carry on the analyisis,find out the mian factors that limit the value of WPI degree and the standard,and according to the location relationship between the 14 provinces of Gansu divided into five categorice:the five categories of the region's province of WPI and analyzes and compares the five points index value obtained associated factors influencing regional terrEstrial WPI value by cities or states.WPI for 14 provinces,Gansu province,and 5 points index value from small to large,arrange comparison intuitive reflects the influence the value of WPI, Relationship between the size of the indicators,and establish a city in Gansu province WPI data sets,provides the data basis for the evaluation of water resources reasonable use and research.Finally according to the writing of this thesis have problems put forward outlook,put forward higher goals for research work.
