Study On The Planning Methods Of City Botanical Park

With the acceleration of urbanization and the rapid development of society,the city is facing a series of problems of environmental deterioration,depletion of natural resources soil erosion and other aspects,which bring big threat to the environmental quality of people's living space and the sustainable development of the society.In city,the environmental planning of urban space is becoming the focus in the landscape field to keep the balanced development between mankind and the natural environment today.With the the rapid development of urban green space,the Botanical Park as a new green land type is deriving from Botanical Garden.Botanical Gardens in the development of the botanical garden combines the advantages of public service on the Comprehensivee Park.The harmonious construction of city Botanical Park is significant,because Botanical Park can offer civilization green space for viewing,learning,leisure,disaster prevention,education about the plant ecology,and meet urban residents for the growing spiritual needs.This paper aims to provide theoretical support and examples of reference for the planning of modern Botanical Park in the city,the results include:1?This paper describe the concepts in historical evolution of Botanical Garden,and define the conception of urban Botanical Park through the path of Botanical Garden and the changing of functions.It's a new type of green land which not only contains many recreational facilities like Comprehensive Park,but also involves plant landscape viewing,entertainment,and educational function as Botanical Garden.2? From environmental protection,urban beautification to plant conservation,science popularization and provide residents entertainment,learning,communication and so on,Botanical Park's diverse functions are studied deeply;Botanical Park is pointed out to be a kind of ecological and stable construction of landscape community,and it has the characteristics of connecting plants conservation,science education with human needs;the landscape style of making knowledge about plant species and entertainment into one is showed;and from three aspects of the natural landscape,cultural landscape,and functional landscape features,the paper analyzes the landscape resources' composition of Botanical Park,and forms a theoretical system in the planning of the urban Botanical Park.3?Analyzing the features in planningof Botanical Garden and Comprehensive Park systematically and comparatively,and from many aspects including the position,the overall layout,function zoning,landscape planning,plant design and traffic organization planning expound Botanical Park.According to the new characteristics with diversification and high speed of modern urban development,the new trends which are more responsive to development of the times and meet the needs of public in the function of Botanical Park are analyzed in the paper,and the four principles including function,ecology,characteristic and science which should be followed in planning and construction are also summarized.4?Botanical Park in Lu'an is located in the plant collection,preservation and ex-situ conservation,making recreation,landscape and science disseminating as a whole,eventually,becoming Botanical Garden with scientific connotation and great view.When planing,we should choose and integrate various landscapes among Botanical Garden and others public gardens reasonably,to create a kind of spatial structure named "a nucleus,two areas,three axis,three districts",dividing the Botanical Park in Lu'an into three major functional areas of the featured plants zone in Dabie Mountains,the theme parks of plants zone,plants transaction and exhibition area.The arrangement of plants should be scientific,ecological featured and other major aspects to build a natural and sustainable plant community landscape.
