Comparative Study Of The Residential Space Arrangement Morphology In Central City Core Area

Basing on the range of central city core area and regarding residential space arrangement morphology as cutting-in point, this Paper studies residential space in central city core area from the view of land utilization rationalization and arrangement optimization. On the basis of analyzing residential space arrangement morphology characters of central city core area of overseas big cities and Dalian City, by means of comparative study, interdisciplinary research as well as qualitative and quantitative research, this Paper studies the arrangement morphology characteristics, contrastively analyzes the formation causes as well as influence factors of the residential space arrangement morphology of each city, further illustrates the effect of these formation causes and influence factors on the development of a city, and finally summarizes the arrangement characters of overseas big cities and then comes to the conclusion that the arrangement characters are influenced by different kinds of factors such as physical geography, historical development, urban planning, peripheral function and street network morphology, which reveals the guidance and reference significance for China's urbanization.This Paper is divided into four Parts. Its first Chapter constitutes the first Part, which presents the specific research background, defines the research objects and contents, and indicates the research significance of the key topics of this Paper. This Part puts forward the research method and basic technical roadmap of the study of residential space arrangement, on the basis of summarizing and analyzing of the research of residential space arrangement at home and abroad since the recent decade. The second Chapter of this Paper is the second Part. In this Part, the residential space analyzed by domestic and foreign scholars from the perspective of urban space, residential space and urban morphology will be studied through the analysis of theories related to several concepts such as central city, central city core area, residential space and arrangement morphology. The residential space will be studied from the perspective of its arrangement morphology characters and the current residential spacing arrangement characters will be studied through analyzing of the arrangement morphology of foreign residential space. The third Part of this Paper is composed of Chapter Three and Chapter Four. Chapter Three analyzes the residential space arrangement of several domestic and overseas representative central city core areas on its arrangement morphology characters of the type, density and time of residential space, and on its influence factors. In the comparison with overseas big cities in Chapter Four, it focuses on Dalian central city core area and with description of its residential space arrangement characters, the influence factors of arrangement characters will be analyzed from the view of dynamic change. The fifth Chapter of this Paper forms its fourth Part, which compares the characters of residential space arrangement morphology and its influence factors between overseas cities and Dalian City, indicates the enlightenment brought by overseas cities on residential space arrangement, and thereby provides reference for the development of China's urbanization.Through the above study and research, this Paper summarizes the formation causes and influence factors of residential space arrangement morphology characters and offers proposals on future residential space arrangement and even land use layout, thereby to provide guidance for the arrangement of central city residential space in future.
