Fully Automatic Wire Harness Cutting And Insertion Equipment-Research And Development Of Wire Harness Assembly Machine

Wire harness is one of the most important product in electronic and intelligent industry, widely used in many fields,such as automobile,industry,home appliance,communication and so on. It is produced by the processes of wire feeding,cutting and crimping, insertion.At present,the insertion procedure is complete artificially in the domestic.A automatic machine of wire harness with multi-colorand different connectors is designed.Using wire feeding frame and loosen clamp to feed and cut 30 different colors wire; Combining 5 types terminal crimping machine to realize the connection between wire and terminal. The article in charge of design of wire harness assembly machine, it can feeds 5 types of connectors and inserts wire into 9 connectors in procedure.The main mechanical composition of two parts which are connectors feeding and wire insertion are presented in this article.By using vibration plate to make connectors sorting, and the drive of multi-station plate and connectors box realize the connectors automatic feeding. The mechanism of moving and guiding can solve the interference problem when wire is inserted into the double-port connector and makes the insertion disorderly. The design of wire clamp mechanism has the function of insertion test, it can takes a qualified test after insertion or reinserts the wire if the insertion is not completed.The test of wire harness assembly sample machine is designed and established,it proves success rate of wire assembly and confirm the best griping distance. The controlling system of wire harness assembly machine which basic on PLC and touch screen is designed,it can meet control requirements of different connectors feeding and wire insertion.
