Development Of All Wheel Drive Vehicle Braking Force Detection Device

In order to solve the problem of damaging transmission when all wheel drive vehicle has braking test in traditional detection platform,and make online detection more quickly,accurately and safely,all wheel drive vehicle braking force detection device had been designed and developed.There existed some difficulties in traditional braking force detection device.The author widely investigated the present situation and development of braking force detection device at home and abroad,pointing out the significance of all wheel drive vehicle braking force detection device to vehicle detection nowadays.Then,the author proposed the method of all wheel drive vehicle braking force detection,design of detection device,software and hardware development of electronic instrumentation and development of PC control software.Next,a detailed description was given on the mechanical structure of detection device,beginning with overall structure of tester.The paper mainly introduced the basic capability analysis an d measuring principles of all wheel drive vehicle braking force detection device.At the same time,this paper gave reasonable method in measuring maximum braking force,besides that introduced hardware and software design structure,including overall circ uit,program design and software design of PC.The system adopted micro-controller based on PIC core,including braking force measurement module,power module,communication module,display module for debugging and etc.Program contained main program,init ialization module,data acquisition module,and communication module.Besides that debugged the program and analyzed the result.Software design including user interface,tester function module,and calibration module based on Lab VIEW.Finally,comparative test of braking force was made according to the national standard.The actual measurements showed that the system succeeded meeting the requirements of all wheel drive vehicle braking detection and it has high measurement precision and reliability.
