The diversification of customer demand in the consumer market leads to the original production mode have already can't meet the requirements of production,therefore,more and more automobile production enterprises choose the mode of mixed flow production.Although the mixed flow assembly can achieve the production of more collinear model at the same time,an increasing number of collinear models has brought more problems for the supplement of materials in the workshop.Therefore,the efficient material delivery system with reducing production costs and improving work efficiency as the goal in the automobile production workshop is receiving more and more attention.In this paper,an automobile industry company which is located in Chengdu was taken as the research object,to improve and optimize the assembly shop material delivery.In order to solve the deteriorative environment of assembling and high line side inventory problems in assembly shop,a kind of SPS delivery scheme in A1 and A2 section of assembly workshop interior line was designed,which includes the picking area,material shape,fill stock form,material on-line path and material online time and so on.After that,a simulation study is designed by using the simulation software to verify whether the SPS delivery scheme for the actual production is feasible or not.The simulation results show that the SPS delivery scheme used in the A1 and A2 section of assembly workshop interior line can effectively reduce operating costs,reduce the line side inventory and improve the efficiency of assembly.In addition,in order to solve the optimization problem of material delivery in assembly shop,the relationship between the material delivery and line side inventory,and characteristics of material delivery network were analyzed.Then the material was turned into delivery network nodes to simplify material delivery network,and the simplified delivery network could meet the general vehicle routing problem.After building a routing optimization model which considering tractor driving distance,average number of line side inventory and number of vehicles as optimization targets,and an improved genetic algorithm has been designed to slove this model.Finally,one of the assembly workshop material deliveries has been taken as an example to verify this model and algorithm,both the advantages and the disadvantages between improved genetic algorithm and traditional genetic algorithm in solving delivery routing problem have been analyzed.The instance validation results and comparison analysis results show that the model and the algorithm are correct and effective in this paper.
