Electricity power is the foundation for the development of a national economy. Reasonable planning of power distribution has a direct impact on the sustainable economic development. Electric power industry has developed rapidly recent years in China, whereas the phenomenon that power distribution network planning is unreasonable planted. To solve this problem, this paper designed an auxiliary decision system for power distribution network, and then used in Hengshui power distribution network. The system can evaluate current power system properly and provide guide to power grid planning.Overall design scheme of power grid planning auxiliary decision system is introduced firstly. Then described the design principles, development goals, design standard and development model of the system. The related technologies are analyzed in detail. To realize the function of this system, five major functional modules are divided.As the core of the system, evaluation module system is the fatal part that decides whether this system can function well or not. First introduced the basic theory and commonly used method of evaluation. Then evaluation index which is suitable for high voltage distribution network planning is designed. Finally, applied the evaluation system to the power grid planning of Hengshui power distribution network. the planed grid improved a lot Compared the performance with the grid before planting. It means that the evaluation system can function effectively.In view of a large amount of data management in the system, this paper established a specialized database to store spatial data and attribute data. Through the keywords the connection between main attribute table and sub-attribute table is established, thus realized the management of huge amounts of data. Then, designed the distribution of system function module structure, data flow of the whole system is studiedThe system is applied in Hengshui power distribution network combined its' own characteristics. The each function module is studied, and the power grid planning in this area is obtained. The location and power capacity of substation planting is determined, which is a reliable guide for power system planning and transformation provides.
