With the continuous development of economic society and the continuous improvement of people's living standards, the requirements of the power grid has been continuously improved. In order to meet the new urban center district in the future needs of the rapid development, as the infrastructure of power network must be in combination with the actual situation in the region on the basis of moderately ahead of construction, reasonable development, ensure the high quality of power supply, a strong and reliable network, so as to the rapid development of the central area of safeguard. In this paper, the new urban center district high and medium voltage distribution network current situation are analysed. Then based on the typical user load density index survey results and the perspective of the land use planning map, the new urban central area prospective year load are predicted. At the same time, on the basis of Regional Prospective year load forecast, to optimize the substation site, determine the scope and capacity of substation power supply. Then, according to the development of new urban center area location, the basic objective and the principle of the distribution network development area are determined. After that, the target network of high and medium voltage distribution network is determined, and the calibration scheme is correct, so as to guide the construction of distribution network in the future. Finally, according to the results of the construction of high and medium voltage target network, the proposed scheme and investment estimation of the regional power corridor are proposed to ensure the adequacy of the corridor, the economic and reasonable scheme.
